Clemson Heights is one of the rare in-town Clemson neighborhoods where the homesites feel expansive rather than compressed. Near Clemson University and the Walker Course, the neighborhood pairs a close-to-campus address with mature trees, winding streets, and homes that often sit on half-acre to multi-acre parcels. That combination gives the area a distinct sense of space while keeping Memorial Stadium, Littlejohn Coliseum, and the university core within easy reach.

Most of the housing stock dates from the late 1940s through the 1970s, with a smaller set of newer homes and infill opportunities extending into the 2010s. Ranch plans, split-level layouts, and mid-century modern renovations all appear here, and basements are a defining feature rather than an exception. Walk-out lower levels, workshop space, separate entrances, and oversized storage areas give many homes extra flexibility for recreation rooms, guest space, hobby space, or game-day use.

Amenities & Lifestyle

Clemson Heights does not center on a private amenity package. Its appeal comes from location and setting. The Walker Course anchors the western side of the neighborhood experience, and some homes pick up fairway frontage, sunset exposure, or seasonal mountain views. The South Carolina Botanical Garden is another recurring part of the lifestyle, with nearby trail access and natural edges adding to the outdoor appeal.

Lake Hartwell also plays a supporting role. Boat ramps, marina access, and lakeside recreation are close enough to stay in the everyday orbit, while golf-cart trips and short drives make it easy to move between home, athletics, and downtown Clemson.
