That shared-access option helps explain why White Oak Cliff spans everything from modest interior houses to renovated waterfront homes with covered docks, lifts, and easy paths to the water.

The housing stock is mostly detached homes from the 1970s through the 1990s, with a smaller set of 2000s and 2010s construction. Garages appear on more than four-fifths of listings, basements on roughly three-fifths, and decks, fireplaces, hardwood floors, sunrooms, and main-level primary suites show up repeatedly. Renovated kitchens, updated baths, and refreshed waterfront interiors are common in later sales. Exterior materials are mixed rather than uniform, with stone, siding, and occasional brick mentions across the neighborhood.
