Grey Oaks is a newer Lexington neighborhood built almost entirely between 2014 and 2017, and its identity is tied to size and versatility. The homes here run from about 2,200 to just over 6,100 square feet, with four to seven bedrooms, attached garages throughout, and lower-level space that expands well beyond a standard suburban plan. The top end of the neighborhood, particularly along Grey Oaks Lane, adds the kind of extras that push the community beyond a basic move-up subdivision: finished walkout basements, theater or recreation rooms, outdoor kitchens, and occasional private pools.

Community Highlights

The prevailing layout is a large single-family house with formal front rooms and an open kitchen-great room core. Granite counters, pantries, islands, fireplaces, wood or engineered-wood floors, coffered ceilings, heavy molding, tray ceilings, and walk-in closets show up repeatedly, and several homes place the primary suite on the main level. Covered patios, screened porches, fenced yards, and deep back decks are a recurring part of the package, giving Grey Oaks more backyard utility than its typical lot size suggests.
