Listing remarks describe a junior Olympic-size pool, kiddie pool, playground, and basketball area, giving the neighborhood a recognizable recreational anchor without the structure of a mandatory HOA. Holmes Park is another repeated point of reference, and several homes mention the ability to walk or bike to the pool, park, or nearby schools.

Inside the homes, hardwood floors, fireplaces, updated kitchens, and flexible lower-level space are recurring themes. Basements appear in more than a third of recorded listings, often as recreation rooms, workshops, or secondary living space, while porches, screened porches, sunrooms, and decks show up with unusual regularity.
