Paradise Point is one of Belmont's more distinctive Lake Wylie neighborhoods, where shoreline homes, water-view streets, and boat access shape the experience more than clubhouse amenities or uniform tract planning. Waterfront properties account for a substantial share of the neighborhood's listing history, and even interior addresses are frequently promoted for their proximity to the community boat ramp and easy launch points onto the lake.

The housing stock has evolved over decades rather than a single build cycle. Homes in Paradise Point range from 1950 cottages to 2025 custom construction, with the heaviest concentration in the 1970s and 1980s and continued infill bringing newer ranch and custom designs to the upper end of the market. Most of the neighborhood is single-family, and the streetscape mixes brick ranches, Cape Cod forms, cedar-sided homes, custom lake houses, and occasional log-and-stone construction. Exterior materials are mixed rather than uniform, which gives the community a more individual, property-by-property character.

Amenities & Lifestyle

Lake living is the headline. Private docks, floating docks, boat lifts, boathouses, and strong water-view orientation appear throughout the neighborhood, while decks, screened porches, fireplaces, garages, and updated kitchens and baths are recurring features inside the homes themselves. Basements are fairly common on sloped waterfront lots, and a residents' boat-ramp amenity extends lake access beyond the shoreline parcels.

Lot size is another separator. Known homesites run from roughly 10,000 square feet to more than 410,000 square feet, with a typical parcel around 18,000 to 19,000 square feet and an average of about 0.66 acres. Higher-priced stretches appear along Lakefront Drive and selected portions of Paradise Circle and Edgewater Drive, where broader water frontage, docks, and long lake views push values above the neighborhood's entry lots and interior homes.
