Across the subdivision, average lot size is about 0.72 acres, and lots run from about 0.41 acres to more than 4.6 acres, giving Bridgewater more elbow room than a typical in-town subdivision.

Bridgewater's signature amenity is its private community boat ramp, a feature that appears again and again in marketing for both waterfront and interior homes. Covered porches, screened porches, rear decks, attached garages, fireplaces, and split-bedroom or main-level-primary layouts are common themes, and lower levels or walkout basements show up most often in the waterfront segment.

Architecturally, Bridgewater reads as a mixed single-family neighborhood rather than a uniform tract build. Homes span from the late 1960s into new construction in 2025, and remarks point to a blend of traditional one-level homes, two-story plans, brick houses, and siding-clad properties. Brick shows up in a number of listings, especially among older waterfront homes, but the overall exterior mix is broader than a single-material community.
