Simpsonville New Construction is Underway

Just a few updates on some communities in Southern Greenville County:

  1. Lost River is expanding.  This community is up and coming and will feature over a mile of walking trails, junior olympic pool, and much more according to the builder (subject to change, and the amenities are not completed yet!).  View listings below.
  2. Cooper Ridge (link) is currently under construction as of May 2016.
  3. Kings Crossing is a new community near Cooper Ridge where construction has also begun.  Prices in the $300s.
  4. Clear Springs construction has been slower than expected, but new builds are due for completion by June.

Simpsonville is a suburb of Greenville South Carolina which was ranked among 25 Best Affordable Cities in 2011 by money magazine. The town has numerous exciting tourist attractions to offer visitors ranging from modern arcades t7o historic sites.

The outdoor Charter Amphitheater at Heritage Park usually offers different forms of entertainment from early spring to October (during the warmer months of the year). Some past acts at the amphitheater include Willie nelson, the Greenville Symphony orchestra and Bob Dylan. Visitors can also take self guided or official tours which will take you through Downtown Simpsonville where visitors can enjoy sites such as the clock tower which has been the main symbol of the city since 1968. The tour includes the oldest brick building in Simpsonville, historical pharmacy that was constructed in 1886. On the other hand, the Woodside Mill served at the main economic center of teh town in the 1900’s.

The Heritage Park is located on Main Street and it offers miles of hiking, biking and walking trails, picnic areas, miniature train rides, 2 playgrounds, batting cages and 6 baseball fields. South Park along Baldwin road features a BMX track, tennis court and a Water park known as Discovery Island which offers a leisure pool, a lazy river and numerous water slides. On the other hand, golfers can visit the Fox Run Country Club or the Holy Country Club. However, it is vital to note that play is limited to all non-members.

In case you are interested in family oriented indoor activities you can visit the Golden Park Recreational Center on Balcome Boulevard which offers numerous activities including skating, arcade games and bowling. Grownups can visit Ma’s Comedy club for all night parties and standup acts.
